Kingslayer is a song by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon featuring BABYMETAL. The song was released on October 30, 2020 and appears as the sixth track from Bring Me the Horizon's studio album, Post Human: Survival Horror.
Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish talked about the collaboration in an interview with NME:[1]
"We wanted to do something with them for ages. We’ve got a really special connection with them, even though we don’t speak the same language. We don’t hang out or have conversations, but when you see them, it makes you really happy. They work so well with the whole idea of this record being cyber-punk-y. It sounds like an anime TV trailer." - Oli Sykes
"They’re definitely one of them bands we can relate to in a way… They mix a lot of different styles, they’re not your standard band… They came back with an English verse and Oli [Sykes] just replied to them ‘is there any chance you can do something Japanese?’ and they were like ‘Really?’ and [he] just thought it’d be cool if the [track] was in their actual language." - Jordan Fish
They performed the song with BABYMETAL for the first time at the NEXT_FEST in October 31, 2023 in Japan.[2] The performance was updated in December 12, 2023 on YouTube.[3]
BABYMETAL joined Bring Me the Horizon stage at the Sick New World 2024 festival in Las Vegas on April 27, 2024, and performed their song together.[4]
